- Audience: Leaders United members, entrepreneurs, community and business leaders
Designed to highlight entrepreneurs who are addressing social issues facing our communities—and help fund their ideas—this is an event filled with inspiration, creativity (and a touch of competition!); bringing attention to women and people of color who are currently underrepresented in the entrepreneurial community. The Triangle, known for its innovative spirit, will thrive as the changing demographics of the region are reflected in our future leaders and innovators.
We anticipate 300 Triangle area business and community leaders along with innovators and entrepreneurs will be in attendance at this high-energy, interactive event to support the next generation of leaders. This is an opportunity to hear creative ideas and support the entrepreneurial spirit of the Triangle. The event includes:
- Pitches of four to six entrepreneurs working on social issues facing our community
- Attendees bid on the idea they feel has the most impact potential, with cash award
- Entrepreneur with the highest amount will win a grand prize award; all other entrepreneurs will keep the money from the bids on their ideas
