Elected officials, transportation partners, along with business and community leaders will visit Richmond and northern Virginia this month to tour two bus rapid transit systems: the Richmond Pulse and the Metroway serving Alexandria and Arlington; and the Virginia Railway Express commuter rail service in northern Virginia. In addition, we will learn about the Flash BRT system, currently under construction in suburban Maryland.
You are invited to join us in this effort to inspire vision and action for accelerating enhanced transit in the western Triangle and across our region.
Registration fee: $749 until June 7
Late registration fee: $899
Registration fee includes travel between the Triangle, Richmond, and Northern Virginia, overnight hotel stay in Alexandria, all meals and snacks, an evening welcome reception, ground transportation in Virginia, and all conference materials.
The RTA tour begins on June 20 at 7:00 a.m. in Durham and concludes on June 21 by 7:00 p.m in Durham.
