Business After Hours

This large scale gathering is ideal to meet other business leaders and build relationships in a relaxed environment. Held the fourth Thursday of the month, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Business After Hours are complimentary for Durham Chamber members.

Ambassadors Meetings

The Durham Chamber Ambassadors is an elite group of members who serve as advocates for the Durham Chamber and the business community in general. Meetings are held quarterly at the Chamber’s office to identify new ways of engagement for Ambassadors.

Inter-City Visits

Join us for one of the best investments you’ll make, an Inter-City Visit. An inter-city visit is a trip to another city or region taken by a diverse delegation comprised of leaders from a community’s public, private and nonprofit sector. As a Chamber member, you have the opportunity to join us in traveling to a peer city as we meet with their respective chamber of commerce and leadership team. The Durham Chamber will unveil our annual destination in the spring of each year.

New Member Orientation

Make sure your Chamber membership works for you, attend a quarterly new member orientation. These sessions are your opportunity to meet Chamber staff, introduce your business and get familiar with benefits your Chamber membership provides.

Industry Roundtables

Roundtable fills a specific niche for business owners and operators that are passionate about growing their businesses, developing high-performance teams and transforming their business. This is your chance to discuss critical business issues, experience-sharing and problem solving with a network of peers.

Peer facilitated, roundtables are held every other month at the Chamber’s office.

Ribbon Cuttings

Ribbon Cuttings are a great way to generate excitement around a business opening. Often, elected officials will join the ceremony and the general public loves to hear about new businesses. Let the Durham Chamber welcome your new business to the neighborhood and we break out the REALLY big scissors.
