NC State, UNC and Duke Basketball legends return to the Triangle on April 19 to vie for top honors in the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC) Big Three Legends Game. The event features Duke’s Christian Laettner, NC State’s Vinny Del Negro, and UNC’s Kenny Smith as celebrity coaches, who will lead their respective teams of former legends Julius Hodge, Gene Banks, and George Lynch along with others in a three-on-three half-court competition to determine the Big Three Champions. All proceeds from ticket sales and post event silent auction will benefit the Duke Children’s Hospital, the UNC Lineberger Cancer Center, and The V Foundation.

The event will be held April 19th at 4PM at The Cage on the grounds of the American Tobacco Campus in Durham, NC. The event will feature NBA All-Star style skills and shooting contests, which determine the top two teams that will play three-on-three for the honor of being crowned the BCBSNC Big Three Legends Champions.  Players have been drawn from each school’s storied rosters from previous seasons. The evening will be capped off with a charitable gala and silent auction, featuring numerous sports collectibles from college and professional teams in North Carolina.
