Northgate Mall Hosts Durham Rescue Mission Food Drive Saturday, November 10
Northgate Mall in association with its Food Gallery merchant Jake’s Wayback Burgers is pleased to support Durham Rescue Mission this holiday season by serving as host for a food drive Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 9:00am-4:00pm at The Plaza at Northgate, Gregson Street, off I-85 in Durham.
This year the Durham Rescue Mission has experienced a record number of men, women and children in need and is requesting the public’s help during the holiday season by bringing canned or non-perishable food items to the Durham Rescue Mission special outpost on Northgate Mall’s outdoor Plaza Saturday, November 10 from 9:00am–4:00pm.
Food drive sponsor, Northgate Food Gallery’s Jake’s Wayback Burgers, will be distributing free bags of their home-made chips and ranch dressing with coupons for a future purchase as well as free beverages as a thank you for donors’ generosity.
The Durham Rescue Mission is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that helps the homeless and addicted in central North Carolina and is home to over 200 men, women, and children.
The organization also provides daily meals, special holiday meals, and back-to-school preparedness.
