Through the Summit Series, the Durham Chamber is tackling complex issues and leading innovative conversations with the goal of building a sustainable community of business people who value the exchange of ideas, opportunities, and professional relationships.
Three summits per year will be held. The 2019 list of series topics include:
Attracting talent to your business is more than just a job announcement. It’s also the livability of the community where you sit. And in Durham, our livability factor is high. Learn more about businesses that are contributing to Durham’s quality of life at a bi-monthly luncheon, providing a behind-the-scenes look at a few of these Bull city gems.
Livability - the sum of the factors that add up to a community's quality of life—including the built and natural environments, economic prosperity, social stability and equity, educational opportunity, and cultural, entertainment and recreation possibilities.
The Chamber also commits to providing programs that are a positive influence in the greater community and its growth in regards to both quality of life and business development. To accomplish this, we partner with local community organizations throughout the year. If your organization would like to partner with the Durham Chamber, contact Tiffany Malory at 919-328-8733 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
