It’s that time of year – when spring brings everything back to life – and in Durham, that is an understatement!  The city will be buzzing with several great festivals including Full Frame Film Fest, Taste 2017, Art of Cool and Moogfest!

April 6-9:  Full Frame Film Festival is celebrating 20 years.  This year’s event will feature a special programming change. The festival’s thematic program, typically featuring films addressing a specific area of interest, will be a cinematic look back on 20 years of Full Frame. Curated by Artistic Director Sadie Tillery, the commemorative retrospective will highlight many of the notable films, filmmakers, and special moments that have distinguished Full Frame since it was founded in 1998.  Don’t miss two new free parties: the Late Night Birthday Bash (free, open to the public) at 21c on Thursday, April 6, and the Closing Night Party (free, open to the public) at 21c on Sunday, April 9. April 20-23:  TASTE is the largest annual culinary event in the Triangle area and includes is a series of masterful culinary experiences. Now in its fourth year, TASTE invites and assembles more than 50 of the best chefs, culinary artisans, artists, brewmasters, sommeliers, and mixologists in the local area. For the first time, in 2017 TASTE will also include acclaimed regional and Southern talent. May 18-21:  Since 2004, Moogfest has brought together artists, futurist thinkers, inventors, entrepreneurs, designers, engineers, scientists, and musicians.  By day, Moogfest is a platform for conversation and experimentation. This mind-expanding conference attracts creative and technology enthusiasts for three days of participatory programming in Durham, North Carolina. By night, Moogfest presents cutting-edge music in venues throughout the city.
